Always felt this low poly “cel shaded” style looked better than some of the more recent pseudo 2d stuff. Sure, the guilty gear style has pushed things pretty far, but this style was always kinda both convincing enough while still having it’s own unique appeal.

This still has to be one of my favorite pieces from Madness Day 2021 simply because it feels like the season finale of a alternate reality’s higher production version of Madness Combat. Especially with Deimos’s posture implying he hasn’t fully recovered from some kind of insanity.
